JD Ohlinger (P'12) recently made news when he was featured in a Michigan Daily article entitled: "Gay and Greek: The experience of being gay and in a fraternity." It profiled his experience rushing the Peninsular Chapter, and then joining the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity. Alpha Delta Phi has been paired with our state street neighbors Chi Psi and the sorority of Alpha Delta Pi for Greek Week 2010. We will be representing The Eagles to go along with the theme of Rock Bands for 2010. Greek Week 2010 is sure to be a great time so keep posted here for all future updates

Brothers of the Peninsular Chapter,

I'm sure you are all as pleased as I am to see Michigan football on its way back glory this season. I just wanted to take a quick second to remind you all that homecoming is this coming weekend where we'll be watching our Wolverines take on Indiana.

We'll be having a large barbecue with plenty of food and drinks, and of course family and friends are always welcome. We'd love to see as many of you as possible come out this year to celebrate and get back in touch with house and brothers - new and old. After the events of last winter, we've seen a few changes around the house and we hope you'll interested to check them out.

I hope to see many of you this weekend, but if not, please stop by whenever you're in the area to take a look around and chat with a few of the undergrads. Lastly, keep an eye open for another newsletter we're hoping to get out by the end of October.

Don't look now, but the house was on TV again this week! This time though, it wasn't for being robbed, but rather something positive. Local 4 Click on Detroit's Mara McDonald interviewed brothers of the Alpha Delta Phi about a recent, questionable craigslist.org posting. The company in the ad was looking for students and a place to host the filming of pornographic material.

As they say in the video, we're not interested. Alpha Delts hold themselves to a high standard. Our brothers realize making a movie like that would obviously put them at risk both with their family and in their careers.
